How to Get Ready for the Surfing Lessons

Some of the exercises that you can do include, pushups, pull ups and lie on your back extensions. Surf learning demands lots of paddling, and this is the hardest part so to ensure that you train on the upper body cardio which is extremely important. You can do the paddling, boxing aerobics, swimming laps, rows and many others so that you can train on the upper body cardio.

Ensure that you get a balanced board, this is to ensure that you practice weight distribution and also practice the relaxed balancing. This will also help in balance toning of your legs and keep them in shape. Your instructor should include this in the learning lessons so that he can show you how to do that, the information is contained in DVD’s showing you how it is done, and this should be done at least 15-20 minutes on daily basis. The other practice one has to do, and perfect is to hold your breath for at least 20 seconds. Work on your flexibility by doing yoga.
